This is the birding hotline for Friday, November 25th.
A NORTHERN SHRIKE continues to be found off and
on, often sitting on wires, near the north-most
parking lot of the Pheasant Branch Conservancy.
On Tuesday, November 22nd, both a ROSS’S GOOSE
and a CACKLING GOOSE were found in Stoughton.
ROUGH-LEGGED HAWKS are starting to appear. There
have been several reports recently, including one
just south of Blue Mounds near Thompson
Prairie. Another has been spotted near
Schumacher Road, north and east of Waunakee.
