Monterey Bay:
A Shearwater Journeys trip today reported thousands of seabirds in the
bay. The highlight was a sub-adult SHORT-TAILED ALBATROSS with a band
on one leg. The bird hung around the boat for an hour and was well
photographed. An ANCIENT MURRELET and a HARLEQUIN DUCK were reported at
the Monterey Harbor. [Debbie Shearwater]
