This is the transcript of the new messages on the Monterey Bay Area

Birds in this report:

Black and White Warbler
Red Phalarope
Black-legged Kittiwake
Harlequin Duck
White-winged Scoter
Blue-gray Gnatcatcher

Monterey:

A BLACK AND WHITE WARBLER was seen near the corporation yard at the El
Estero cemetery. A RED PHALAROPE and several BLACK-LEGGED KITTIWAKE
were seen from Wharf #2 and a male HARLEQUIN DUCK continues near the
Coast Guard Pier. A WHITE-WINGED SCOTER was seen from the Monterey
Beach Hotel [Tim Amaral] Earlier in the week, several WHITE-WINGED
SCOTER and a couple of RED-NECKED GREBE were seen from the Hotel.
Several NORTHERN FULMAR including one light morph were seen near Wharf
#2 feeding on fish scraps. [Brain Weed]

Seaside:

A BLUE-GRAY GNATCATCHER was seen near the church at Laguna Grande and a
WESTERN TANAGER was in the area. [Tim Amaral] A VIRGINIA'S WARBLER was
in the willows near the BBQ area on the south side of the park. [Dave

Carmel:

A BRANT was seen on the lagoon today [Dave Werner]
