among several hundred Canadas, 1 CANVASBACK, 3-5 REDHEAD, 40-50
RING-NECKED DUCKS, ~20 LESSER SCAUP, ~6 BUFFLEHEAD, several hundred
COMMON GOLDENEYE, ~20 HOODED MERGANSERS, and COMMON MERGANSERS
Thacher Park 12/3: A large southbound flock and a smaller northbound
flock of SNOW GEESE
Vischer Ferry NHP 12/3: 6 GADWALL, 2 NORTHERN SHOVELERS, 2 HOODED
MERGANSERS, and a BELTED KINGFISHER
East Greenbush 12/4: 13 WILD TURKEYS
Coxsackie Boat Launch 12/4: 3 COMMON MERGANSERS, an adult BALD EAGLE,
3 immature ICELAND GULLS, and 1 immature LESSER BLACK-BACKED GULL
Ramshorn Sanctuary 12/4: GREAT BLUE HERON, BELTED KINGFISHER, and 2
HERMIT THRUSHES, 1 singing
