PALM WARBLER, SWAMP SPARROW.

On Dec 18, a male TUFTED DUCK was associating with Ring-necked ducks and
Greater scaup about midway in the big lagoon in Berkeley Aquatic Park.

San Mateo Co.

On Dec 17, a sea watch from Ocean Blvd in Moss Beach produced
RED-NECKED GREBE, NORTHERN FULMAR, POMARINE JAEGER, BLACK-LEGGED
KITTIWAKE and (98) RHINOCEROS AUKLETS. At Venice State Beach, a
2nd cycle GLAUCOUS GULL was seen among the thousands of gull there.

On Dec 17, a report of the Crystal Springs CBC, with high 180 or
low 190 in species count, highlights include GREATER WHITE-FRONTED GOOSE
and CACKLING GOOSE at Redwood Shores, (4) EURASIAN WIGEONS in
Foster City, the female TUFTED DUCK at Redwood Shores, (10) CLAPPER
RAILS, a good number for bayside San Mateo, WILSON'S WARBLER at the
mouth of Pilarcitos Creek, EURASIAN COLLARED DOVES, BLACK SKIMMERS in
Steinberger Slough , visible from the dike behind the Nob Hill Market,
WILD TURKEYS in the water shed area, HARLEQUIN DUCK at the
San Mateo Bridge, and SWAMP SPARROW in Half Moon Bay. (Al DeMartini)

On Dec 18, at around 8.00am, a RED PHALAROPE flew over and landed on
the Lagoon side of the beach and proceeded to feed amongst the sand
dunes before walking down and settling at the water's edge of the
Lagoon in amongst the floating mats of vegetation at Rodeo Lagoon.

On Dec 17, a report from the Pt Reyes CBC, highlights include, numerous
CACKLING GEESE in different locations, an EASTERN PHOEBE on private
property in the Chileno Valley, BARN SWALLOW and YELLOW WARBLER at
Olema Marsh, PALM WARBLER at Home Ranch, RHINOCEROS AUKLETS,
ANICIENT MURRLETS and MARBLER MURRLETS were found, RED CROSSBILLS
were at the summit of Mt Whitenberg NORTHERN FULMAR and POMARINE JAEGER
