Bob Zaremba reports that the male WESTERN TANAGER that has been sporadically
visiting the feeders at the residence of Laura Brown was seen late Friday
morning. Laura's address is 3418 Chatsworth Way, Powder Springs, Cobb Co.
Her number is 770-514-7572, but there is no need to call before coming to
look for the bird.

Russ Wigh relayed a report to Georgia Birders Online (GABO-L) that Stan Gray
discovered a ROSS'S GOOSE today on a fairway of a golf course behind his
house at The Landings on Skidaway Island. The Landings is a private
community, but if the bird is still at the location on Saturday morning,
Russ will update the birding community via GABO-L with the assumption that
arrangements will be made to allow birders to visit the area.

Jeff Sewell relayed a report that the two WESTERN KINGBIRDS reported last
week by Gene Keferl were again seen today by Gene near the 4-H center on
Jekyll Island. The birds were also seen later in the day closer to Macy Dr.
Rick Waldrop reports that the female VERMILION FLYCATCHER continues near the
silos at the Bradley Unit of Eufaula NWR. Rick saw the bird late Friday
afternoon. This bird has been present at this location since mid-November
2005.
