Highlights: BLACK SCOTER, MOUNTAIN PLOVER, GLAUCOUS GULL,
MARBLED MURRELET, ANCIENT MURRLET.

Sonoma Co.
----------
On Mar 1, (4) MOUNTAIN PLOVERS were seen along the HWY 37 causeway
between Novato and Vallejo. They were seen from the wildlife viewing
area at the Richard Janson "Fresh Air" Bridge. You must be driving east
on the highway to be able to exit at the correct place. From the parking
lot of the wildlife viewing area, you can see a very large plowed field.
The birds were in that field. (Alan Wight)

San Mateo Co.

On Mar 1, a sea watch from Ocean Blvd in Moss Beach,
produced an adult male BLACK SCOTER, an ANCIENT MURRELET, and
(503) MARBLED MURRELETS. Off of Pt Montara, another (48) MARBLED
MURRELETS were scoped from shore. AT Venice State Beach in Half Moon Bay,
the fourth individual first cycle GLAUCOUS GULL was seen in with
