Allegheny County:
On 8/14 in the Bald Knob area, additional sightings included Green Heron, 3
additional Least Sandpiper, Eastern Wood Pewee, Eastern Phoebe.
On 8/16 in Etna along the Allegheny River, 3 Least Sandpiper, Spotted
Sandpiper, Killdeer.
On 8/17 in Etna, 28 Common Nighthawk (lazily floating over the Route 8
valley and feeding).
On 8/18 in East Liberty, NORTHERN WATERTHRUSH, 3 Red-eyed Vireo, 7 Cedar
Waxwing; on 8/19, NORTHERN WATERTHRUSH, 8 Cedar Waxwing, EASTERN BLUEBIRD
(very unusual within the city limits) (DY).
