GOLDEN EAGLE

Sunday, March 12
1 GOLDEN EAGLE was seen over Mt. Wells in Langford.

Saturday, March 11
2 GOLDEN EAGLES and 5 TURKEY VULTURES were over Mt. Wells in Langford.
At Blenkinsop Lake in Saanich, there were 3 species of swallows:
BARN SWALLOWS, TREE SWALLOWS and VIOLET-GREEN SWALLOWS.
Also there were 16 GREATER-WHITE FRONTED GEESE.

Friday, March 10
3 VIOLET-GREEN SWALLOWS were seen at Swan Lake. Also there was a
VIRGINIA RAIL.
There was 1 GREATER YELLOWLEGS seen at Cattle Point.

Wednesday, March 8
Up island, a RUFOUS HUMMINGBIRD in the Nanoose Bay area represents the
first BC report of the year.
1 BRANT was seen at Cattle Point.

Tuesday, March 7
6 EVENING GROSBEAKS were seen at Mystic Vale at University of Victoria.

Sunday, March 5
A PALM WARBLER was seen in the Duncan area. It was along the
Cowichan Bay Dock Road at the yellow bridge near the entrance gate.
Locally, a PEREGRINE FALCON was seen at Saxe Point in Esquimalt.
