Schenectady - Fri 3/10:
RED-TAILED HAWK, MOURNING DOVE, AMERICAN CROW, BLACK-CAPPED
CHICKADEE, EUROPEAN STARLING, NORTHERN CARDINAL, HOUSE FINCH, and
HOUSE SPARROW.
Troy - Sat 3/11:
RED-TAILED HAWK and EASTERN BLUEBIRD.
Mohawk River - Sat 3/11:
Several pairs of COMMON GOLDENEYE.
Schenectady - Sat 3/11:
TUFTED TITMOUSE, 2 WHITE-BREASTED NUTHATCHES, and DARK-EYED JUNCO.
Nassau - Sat 3/11:

Vischer Ferry NHP - Sat 3/11:
2 WOOD DUCKS, 2 AMERICAN WIGEON, 7 NORTHERN PINTAIL, several
RING-NECKED DUCKS, many HOODED MERGANSERS and RED-BELLIED WOODPECKER.
Coxsackie Flats - Sat 3/11:
Several KILLDEER, 4 NORTHERN HARRIERS, and AMERICAN KESTREL
Collins Lake - Sat 3/11:
GREAT BLUE HERON, RING-NECKED DUCK, HOODED MERGANSER, and COMMON
MERGANSER.
Saratoga Lake at Fish Creek - Sun 3/12:
WOOD DUCK, GREEN-WINGED TEAL, BUFFLEHEAD, COMMON MERGANSER, and
KILLDEER.
Carter Lake - Sun 3/12:
15 species including WOOD DUCK, AMERICAN BLACK DUCK, NORTHERN
PINTAIL, HOODED MERGANSER, COMMON MERGANSER and BROWN CREEPER.
Four-mile Point - Sun 3/12:
5 MUTE SWANS.
Coxsackie - Sun 3/12:
4 WOOD DUCKS, 45 MALLARDS, 5 AMERICAN BLACK DUCKS, 1 NORTHERN
PINTAIL, 4 NORTHERN HARRIERS, several groups of KILLDEER, 2 WILSON'S
SNIPE, several pairs of EASTERN BLUEBIRDS, hundreds of AMERICAN
ROBINS, AMERICAN TREE SPARROW, numerous singing SONG SPARROWS,
WHITE-THROATED SPARROW, and 12 RUSTY BLACKBIRDS.
Papscanee Island - Sun 3/12:
6 WOOD DUCKS, 18 GREEN-WINGED TEAL, 20 NORTHERN PINTAIL, and BALD
EAGLE.
Berne - Sun 3/12:

and a BALD EAGLE on nest.
River Road N of Lock 1:
TREE SWALLOWS.
Hemstreet Park:
COOPER'S HAWK and MERLIN.
Hoosic River at Knickerbocker Road:
About 12 WOOD DUCKS, 2 NORTHERN PINTAIL, and 2 RING-NECKED DUCKS.
Cohoes:
SHARP-SHINNED HAWK.
Albany - Mon 3/13:
3 COMMON GRACKLES.
Western Gateway Bridge - Mon 3/13:
Male RED-TAILED HAWK feeding female on nest.
Cohoes - Mon 3/13:
Adult BALD EAGLE.
Colonie Landfill - Mon 3/13:
2 RED-TAILED HAWKS.
Schenectady - Mon 3/13:
About 40 SNOW GEESE flying over.
Petersburgh - Tue 3/14:
RUFFED GROUSE drumming, 3 AMERICAN WOODCOCK calling and displaying,
singing EASTERN PHOEBE, and singing SONG SPARROW.
Nassau Lake - Wed 3/15:
8 MUTE SWANS, 14 AMERICAN WIGEON, 4 RING-NECKED DUCKS, 4 HOODED
MERGANSERS, and 3 COMMON MERGANSERS.
Berne - Wed 3/15:
2 FOX SPARROWS and 30 COMMON REDPOLLS.
