In Pymatuning on 3/20, 1 female Bufflehead, pair of Hooded Mergansers, 1
BALD EAGLE (JT); on 3/20-3/21, 1,000 SCAUP, 13 TUNDRA SWANS, 3,000+ gulls
(SK). In the Pymatuning area on 3/25, sightings included 2 flyover SANDHILL
CRANES, 2 Eastern Meadowlarks, 120+ TUNDRA SWANS, 1 TRUMPETER SWAN, 1

At Miller's Ponds on 3/25, 5 GREATER YELLOWLEGS, 7 WILSON'S SNIPE, a few
Bufflehead, American Black Duck, Ring-necked Ducks, Hooded Mergansers (MF).
ERIE COUNTY:
At Presque Isle State Park, up to 4 LITTLE GULLS were seen March 9 through
March 16 off vista 2, Thompson Bay, and Beach 11; at least six were present
on 3/24 and 3/25 (JMc and RG), and on 3/26, 3 were seen from Vista parking
lot 3 (LAR). On 3/20 and 3/21, several thousand SCAUP, 155 TUNDRA SWANS, 1
LESSER BLACK-BACKED GULL (SK); on 3/26 around the bay, many SCAUP,
Buffleheads, Common Goldeneyes, Common Mergansers, Red-breasted Mergansers,
and TUNDRA SWANS at beach 11 (LAR).
LAWRENCE COUNTY:
Near Plain Grove on 3/20-21, 6 SANDHILL CRANES, Red-winged Blackbirds (SK);
on 3/26, sightings included 2 SANDHILL CRANES 2 NORTHERN HARRIERS,
Ring-necked Duck, SCAUP, 1 CANVASBACK, 10 REDHEADS, 1 Pied-billed Grebe (MV).
In Slippery Rock Township on 3/26, 1 BALD EAGLE, 15 American Wigeon, 8
GREEN-WINGED TEAL, 7 BLUE-WINGED TEAL, 2 GADWALL, 1 NORTHERN SHOVELER, 6
American Coots (MV).
At the New Beaver Atlantic States gravel pond on 3/26, 3 CANVASBACKS, 10
Hooded MerganserS, 14 Ring-necked Ducks, 5 SCAUP (MV).

In West Pike Run Township on 3/21, 1 Ring-necked Pheasant (VM).
