Highlights: HARLEQUIN DUCK, EURASIAN GREEN-WINGED TEAL, BLACK SCOTER,
BLACK-LEGGED KITTIWAKE, ANCIENT MURRELET, RHINOCEROS AUKLET,
PALM WARBLER.

San Francisco Co.

On Mar 26, a breeding plumaged PALM WARBLER on the south east side of
the "Concrete Bridge" at the south end of Lake Merced. It was in the
willows just before the point where the grove separates from the bridge
and turns southward. (Dan Murphy)

On Mar 26, the male HARLEQUIN DUCK was spotted off the south end of
48th Ave. It was in the direction of Mile Rock, near the last rocks
with the nesting cormorants. PIGEON GUILLEMOTS were seen off of
Land's End. Overhead, migrating BARN and VIOLET-GREEN SWALLOWS,
and AMERICAN GOLDFINCHES were observed. (Harry Fuller)

On Mar 26, a seawatch from Pigeon Point, had the following highlights,
(4) BLACK-LEGGED KITTIWAKE, (2) ANCIENT MURRELETS, and
(3) RHINOCEROS AUKLETS. Along Bean Hollow Road about a half mile
north of Highway 1, a female PURPLE MARTIN flew across Bean Hollow Road
to the west side near the residential houses. The flooded field along
Pescadero Road just east of Bean Hollow Road in the town of Pescadero,
had a male EURASIAN GREEN-WINGED TEAL. At Pescadero Beach,
(5,3m,2f) BLACK SCOTERS were sitting on the ocean west of the parking
lot on the south side of Pescadero Creek. (Ron Thorn)
