This is the Los Angeles Rare Bird Alert for Thursday, March 30. Please

An adult LITTLE BLUE HERON is still present in Marina del Rey. The bird has
been seen along the canal near the intersection of Pacific and Voyage on the
north side of Ballona Creek. The bird was reported through March 30 and
ranges up and down the waterway near Voyage.
The EASTERN PHOEBE at Rustic Canyon Golf Course in Moorpark was still
present on March 26. The bird can be found at the west edge of the driving
range.
A PAINTED REDSTART continues in the Solano Canyon area of Elysian Park. It
has been most recently seen at the top of Park Drive at the picnic area on
the left hand side. Take Park north from Academy Way to reach this
location. The bird was last reported on March 25.
Just below this area and near the small playground, a probable HAMMOND'S
FLYCATCHER was reported again on March 25. South of Solano Canyon, a GRAY
FLYCATCHER was still present on the lawn west of the Adaptive Recreation
Center on Academy Road on March 25. This area is east of the Police
Academy.
On March 26, two WHITE-THROATED SPARROWS were along the Angeles Forest
Highway in the San Gabriel Mountains. The specific location was at mile
post 21.9 where Big Tujunga Canyon Road meets the Angeles Forest Highway.
