A quiet week.
Last Saturday the continuing CHESTNUT-SIDED WARBLER was found around the
cement duck pond near the Park Bench Cafe in Huntington Central Park. Also
that day, no further details, a COMMON POORWILL, was reported from the park.
Last Saturday a report of a male SUMMER TANAGER in Hart Park in Orange.
Look in the easternmost portion of the park near the athletic fields. The
complex is called Lakeside and is on Lake Dr.... drive to the SW corner of
the complex and look in the Redwood trees.
The continuing male AMERICAN REDSTART was along the bike trail near the
Orange-Olive /RR Tracks crossing along the Santa Ana River.
Last Thursday at Bolsa Chica Preserve, the continuing REDDISH EGRET was well
observed.
