San Mateo Co.

On Apr 9, a PALM WARBLER was seen in the Sweet Fennel at the
cream-colored building on the east side of the Fed Ex trucks,
along the public access trail at Harbor Way and Littlefield Avenue
in South San Francisco. (Ron Thorn)
Del Norte Co.

On Apr 10, the EMPEROR GOOSE continues with ALEUTIAN CANADA GEESE
along Serena Road, just north of the Smith River, near the town
of Smith River. From Hwy 101, take 1st Street to Serena Road, to about
a mile to the west. The goose was to the NW. Landmarks in this area
include a barn on the left, there is a yellow sign saying "Flooded".

On Apr 12, (8) RED KNOTS were inside the marsh, just past the middle
parking lot at Arrowhead Marsh. (Chris Carpenter)

On Apr 12, a SWAMP SPARROW was in the albizzia at the west end of
Lake Merced. From Skyline Blvd, take Harding Drive. Almost immediately,
there will be a road on the right leading to the boat launch. There is
a gray metal shed here. (Peter Metropulos)
