BROAD-WINGED HAWK, ELEGANT TERN, CALLIOPE HUMMINGBIRD, PALM WARBLER.

San Mateo Co.

On Apr 14, (2) PALM WARBLERS were observed in the eucalyptus trees by
the restrooms at Bayfront Park in Menlo Park, north end of Marsh Road,
off of Hwy 101. They flew off to the north. (Peter Metropulos)

On Apr 13, (2) breeding plumaged ELEGANT TERNS were on the mudflats
near the yacht club at Coyote Point. A male CALLIOPE HUMMINGBIRD was in
the flowering eucalyptus on the west side of the museum. (Ron Thorn)

Marin Co.

On Apr 13, (2) adult BROAD-WINGED HAWKS were seen at in the Marin
Headlands, heading north. (Steven Bauer)

San Francisco Co.

On Apr 13, a PALM WARBLER was seen at the first intersection down from
El Polin Spring in the Presidio. (3) BLACK SCOTERS and (2) RED-NECKED
GREBES were seen from Crissy Field. A 1st year GLAUCOUS GULL was seen
from Battery Crosby. (Josiah Clark)
