Highlights: ROCK SANDPIPER, RED-NECKED PHALAROPE, BALD EAGLE,
EURASIAN COLLARED DOVE, BARRED OWL, CALLIOPE HUMMINGBIRD,
RUFOUS HUMMINGBIRD, SAGE THRASHER, PALM WARBLER, BLUE GROSBEAK,
GREAT-TAILED GRACKLE.

San Francisco Co.

On Apr 17, VAUX'S SWIFTS, WHITE-THROATED SWIFTS, a female CALLIOPE
HUMMINGBIRD, and WESTERN KINGBIRDS were seen at Bayview Park
(Bayview Hill), located off of Keys Ave and 3rd Street in San Francisco.
At India Basin, a RED-NECKED PHARLAROPE was seen . (Al DeMartini)

San Mateo Co.

On Apr 18, a bright colored male PALM WARBLER was seen in the eucalyptus
trees by the restrooms at Bayfront Park in Menlo Park, north end of
Marsh Road. (Peter Metropulos)

On Apr 17, a female CALLIOPE HUMMINGBIRD was seen at Coyote Point.

On Apr 13, (2) EURASIAN COLLARED DOVES were south of Half Moon Bay,
1/2 mile north of Bob's Produce. This property is marked by two tall
cypress trees and a "No Trespassing" sign on the west side. (Dan Nelson)

Sonoma Co.

On Apr 13, (2) EURASIAN COLLARED DOVES were seen in a residential area,
1/2 mile west of Wilson's School on Bodega Ave in Bodega between
Skillman and Thompson Lane. (Dan Nelson)

On Apr 17, a male GREAT-TAILED GRACKLE flew across Hwy 101 near downtown
Windsor. A BARRED OWL was in the canyon, west of Armstrong Woods Road,
north of Gueneville. A RUFUOS HUMMINGBIRD was seen in a backyard in
Petaluma. On Apr 10, NORTHERN ORIOLES have returned to a Petaluma
backyard. On Apr 16, a late ROCK SANDPIPER was at the usual location at
Bodega Head, while quite a few NORTHERN FULMAR were seen off shore.

Marin Co.

On Apr 18, an adult BALD EAGLE was seen at Alpine Lake. (David Herlocker)

On Apr 17, a SAGE THRASHER was seen at Sunset Overlook. After passing
the historic "A" Ranch at Pt Reyes National Seashore, turn left towards
the Chimney Rock Trailhead parking lot. Almost immediately, there will be
an overlook to the right. The thrasher was hopping around here.

Alameda Co.

On Apr 18, a pair of BLUE GROSBEAKS were in trees at MP 5.90 along
Patterson Pass Road. Also at MP 6.04, an ASH-THROATED FLYCATCHER and
NASHVILLE WARBLER were seen among many Yellow-rumped Warbler. At
Del Valle Regional Park, south of Arroyo Road in Livermore, a
BLACK-THROATED-GRAY WARBLER and TOWNSEND'S WARBLER were seen in
the trees by the bridge, east of the staging area. A pair of
BURROWING OWLS were seen near the curve on Northside Drive off
of Tassajara Road in Dublin. (Jean Richmond)
