This is Dave DeReamus, for the Eastern PA Birdline, sponsored by the Lehigh
Valley Audubon Society, recorded on April 20th at 10:00 PM.
There will be a field trip to the Bethlehem Boat Club area of the Lehigh
River for early migrants and, hopefully, Yellow-throated Warbler on April
22nd. Meet at the Park & Ride lot at the William Penn Highway exit of Route
33, just south of Route 22 at 7:30 AM. I will be leading this trip.
There will also be a beginner's bird walk at Jacobsburg State Park on April
23rd. Meet at the Henry's Woods parking lot at the park at 2:00 PM. Trip
leader will be Dennis Miller.
Next week's upcoming field trips include Hugh Moore Park on April 29th and
Jacobsburg State Park on April 30th.
Directions to many of the sites in this report can be found in the area's
birding guidebook, "Birds of the Lehigh Valley and Vicinity".
