Jeff Sewell, Bill Lotz and Dan Vickers reported 10 - 12 UPLAND SANDPIPERS, 5
BUFF-BREASTED SANDPIPERS and 2 juvenile BAIRD'S SANDPIPERS at the
Marshallville Sod Farms, Macon Co. The UPLAND and BUFF-BREASTED SANDPIPERS

Jeff, Bill and Dan also reported 2 UPLAND SANDPIPERS and 2 BUFF-BREASTED

Exit 142. This site is detailed in on page 144 of Birding Georgia by Giff

Finally, Jeff, Bill and Dan report that the BLACK-HEADED GULL continues at
the south end of Tybee Island. Directions: Take Butler Avenue (US 80) all
the way to the end of the island (pass the commercial area) and park in one
of the metered lots there - either 19th St. or Chatham Avenue. They also
did some birding on Hutchinson Island and found a BALTIMORE ORIOLE, which
bests the published coastal early fall migration date in the Annotated
Checklist of Georgia Birds by 5 days. [DeLorme: p. 39, grid B-10; Birding
