On Apr 23, a HAMMOND'S FLYCATCHER was in the eucalyptus trees above the
picnic tables, just NW of the Coyote Point Museum. (Ron Thorn)
Sonoma Co.

On Apr 23, a CRESTED CARACARA was seen from Pomo Trail east of Shell
Beach (south of the Russian River). It was last seen flying south.

On Apr 21, a CASSIN'S KINGBIRD was seen with several WESTERN KINGBIRDS
in the large field north of where Ralston hits Kinsey in

On Apr 23, (70) RED-NECKED PHALAROPES, (3) SNOWY PLOVER,
thousand's of WESTERN SANDPIPERS, and hundreds of SEMI-PALMATED
SANDPIPERS were seen on the salt ponds at Dumbarton Causeway and
University Ave. (Ed DeBellevue)
On Apr 22, (5-6) VAUX'S SWIFTS and (2) BANK SWALLOWS were seen along
Arastradero Road, across from the parking lot. A north-flying
LEAST TERN was observed at Palo Alto Baylands. (Al DeMartini)

On Apr 22, an impressive list of birds were seen along Patterson Pass
Road, between MP 5.90 and 6.21. List included LOGGERHEAD SHRIKE, WESTERN
WOOD PEWEE, ASH-THROATED FLYCATCHER, PACIFIC-SLOPED FLYCATCHER,
HUTTON'S VIREO, BEWICK WREN, HERMIT THRUSH, ORANGE-CROWNED WARBLER,
NASHVILLE WARBLER, BLACK-THROATED GRAY WARBLER, YELLOW-RUMPED WARBLER,
TOWNSEND'S WARBLER, MACGILLIVRAY'S WARBLER, (2) BLUE GROSBEAK
(one flyby and one at 6.21), LARK SPARROW, BREWER'S BLACKBIRD,
