On May 8, (5) CALIFORNIA CONDORS were seen from the Bear Creek Visitor's
Center and by hiking up towards the reservoir at Pinnacles National
Monument. At Paicines Reservoir, a CASSIN'S KINGBIRD was perched on the
wires and diving like a kingfisher. On May 9, a EURASIAN COLLARED-DOVE
was perched on the roof on the mission at San Juan Bautista.
A LAWRENCE'S GOLDFINCH was also singing at this location.
