On May 14, a BROAD-WINGED HAWK was seen soaring at Presidio Hills at
around 10 AM. The pair of WESTERN BLUEBIRD were feeding young in the
nest near the maintenance yard at Lobos Dunes. (Robbie Fischer)
On May 14, at least two HERMIT WARBLERS were seen near the bridge at
North Lake in Golden Gate Park. (Arthur Lyons)
On May 13, a flock of (18) RED-NECKED PHALAROPES and a BARN SWALLOW
were seen during a night game at the SF Giants game. (Susan Colleta)

On May 13, a field trip to Patterson Pass Road had the following
highlights: PHAINOPEPLA, (2) male BLUE GROSBEAKS, (4) male
BLACK-HEADED GROSBEAKS, (4) female NORTHERN ORIOLES, (2) female
WESTERN TANAGERS, ROCK WREN, RUFOUS-CROWNED SPARROW, LARK SPARROW,
(50+) TRICOLORED BLACKBIRDS, LAZULI BUNTING, LOGGERHEAD SHRIKE,
and GOLDEN EAGLE. (Rich Cimino)
On May 14, (14) LEAST TERNS were seen at the Old Railroad Station in
Alameda. From Webster Street, turn right onto Central Ave, in about a
mile, turn left onto the "Encinal" Boat Ramp, take to end. (Ed Bellevue)
