On May 22, at 915am, a singing NORTHERN PARULA was at the NW corner
of Jewel Lake in Tilden Park. (Emily Strauss)
San Mateo Co.

On May 23, two 1st summer male PURPLE MARTINS were seen at Coyote Point
in San Mateo. (Ron Thorn)
On May 22, a male and female LAWRENCE'S GOLDFINCH were seen along the
Guadalupe Trail 300 feet west of the entrance station parking lot
at San Bruno Mountain Park. A male HOODED ORIOLE was seen at the
willows at the day camp here. (Herb Brandt)
On May 22, (3) BLACK SWIFTS, (2) WHITE-THROATED SWIFTS and several
species of swallows were seen at Coyote Point in San Mateo.
A WILLOW FLYCATCHER was in the scrubs by the kiosk. (Ron Thorn)

On May 23, a light morph sub-adult SWAINSON'S HAWK was seen flying north
from the Golden Gate. (Nick Whelan)

On May 23, EURASIAN COLLARED-DOVES were seen flying W-NW over the trees
at the "East Wash" in Lincoln Park. Others birds seen or heard included
(3) LAZULI BUNTINGS, lots of RED CROSSBILLS, SWAINSON'S THRUSH and
a late TOWNSEND'S WARBLER. A flock of VAUX'S SWIFTS were seen flying
