Wednesday (today): CASSIN'S AUKLET off the Newport Pier.
Tuesday: REDDISH EGRET continuing near Hamilton Bridge crossing of Santa Ana
River.
Monday: PECTORAL SANDPIPER juvenile about 1/4 mile above the Stonehill
Bridge along San Juan Creek in Dana Point/San Juan Capistrano. A BAIRD'S
SANDPIPER juvenile above the bridge on Pacific Coast Highway over San Juan
Creek (above Doheny State Beach).
Sunday:
Adult male ROSE-BREASTED GROSBEAK at Huntington Central Park, Jack Green
Area. Also on Sunday INDIGO BUNTING on east side and continuing PACIFIC
GOLDEN-PLOVER at south end of Bolsa Chica Preserve (Harriet Wieder Park).
SOLITARY SANDPIPER juvenile at Pond 3 of San Joaquin Wildlife Sanctuary in
Irvine... also COMMON TERN and LEAST BITTERN in same area.
Saturday:
SOLITARY SANDPIPER juvenile in San Juan Creek, Dana Point, about 1/4 mile
above the Stonehill Bridge.
PACIFIC GOLDEN-PLOVER south end of Bolsa Chica Preserve in Huntington Beach.
BANK SWALLOW among flock of Barn Swallows at San Joaquin Wildlife Sanctuary,
Pond C
Friday:
REDDISH EGRET FOUND near the Hamilton Bridge of Santa Ana River.
NORTHERN PARULA and LUCY WARBLER at Huntington Central Park, Parula around
Island Area and Lucy's around Jack Green Nature Area. Lucy's seen through
Sunday, Parula through Sunday as well.
Thursday:
Adult male ROSE-BREASTED GROSBEAK on private property in Laguna Beach.
