Hello, this is the Audubon Society of Portland Rare Bird Report. This report
was made Thursday September 1. If you have anything to add call Harry Nehls

On August 28 a male TENNESSEE WARBLER was reported near Prineville. A
ROSE-BREASTED GROSBEAK was seen August 25 at Seaside. On August 28 a RUFF
was at Agate Lake, east of Medford. The YELLOW-BILLED LOON continues to be
seen at Yaquina Bay.

On August 24 a PACIFIC GOLDEN-PLOVER was at Bandon. Another is on the North
Spit of Coos Bay, and another is at Fern Ridge Reservoir near Eugene. A
BUFF-BREASTED SANDPIPER was on the North Spit of Coos Bay August 25. Another
was at the South Jetty of the Columbia River August 29, and another was
reported August 30 near Monmouth. On August 27 a BOHEMIAN WAXWING was near
the Cannon Beach Sewage Ponds. A COMMON TERN was at Seaside that day.

A flock of 20 WHITE PELICANS was on Sauvie Island August 25. Up to 70 are
now at Fern Ridge Reservoir. A PRAIRIE FALCON was at Fern Ridge August 28. A
LARK SPARROW was in North Portland August 31. A MAGPIE is now being seen in
east Salem.

Two COMMON TERNS, two CASPIAN TERNS, and 150 WHITE PELICANS were at Wickiup
Reservoir, south of Bend August 27.
