HOODED WARBLER, RED CROSSBILL.

San Francisco Co.

On May 27, a EURASIAN COLLARED DOVE was in the Monterey pines at the NE
corner of the maintenance yard at Lobos Creek Dunes in the Presidio. Also
the pair of WESTERN BLUEBIRDS continue at the same location, attending
a nest cavity. (3-4) RED CROSSBILLS were seen along El Camino Del Mar
near the Legion of Honor in Lincoln Park. (2) PIGEON GUILLEMOTS were
at Point Lobos. (Emilie Strauss)

San Mateo Co.

On May 27 an alternate plumaged SEMIPALMATED SANDPIPER was seen with
the Caspian Tern flock on the mudflat at Pescadero Creek east of the
bridge at Highway 1. A male HOODED WARBLER was seen and heard calling
in the brush near the south side of Tunitas Creek Road. This is where
Tunitas Creek crosses the road about a quarter mile east of
Highway 1. (Ron Thorn)
