On Thursday, Jack Carusos reported a WARBLING VIREO along Ivy Log Gap Rd.
mid-way between Blairsville and Young Harris. Jack also reported a
SWAINSON'S WARBLER and a WORM-EATING WARBLER. Directions: From Young Harris,
head north on GA 66 about 0.7 miles and turn left on Byers Creek Rd. At 1.7
miles, turn left on Ivy Log Gap Rd. (FS 100). At some point along Ivy Log
Gap Rd., you will come to a "Y" or "T" intersection; take a left at this
intersection.

The BLACK-BELLIED WHISTLING-DUCKS have been reported by many observers at
many locations in the Altamaha SWMA near Darien at least through Wednesday.
They are seen most frequently on the west side of US 17 on Champney Island.
Also reported at the Altamaha: AMERICAN BITTERN (Gene Keferl) and LEAST
BITTERN.

Several observers have noted ANHINGAS at the Ocmulgee National Monument in
Macon. In addition to the ANHINGAS, on June 7, Eric Beohm reported 2
BALTIMORE ORIOLES, 2 PAINTED BUNTINGS, 6 KING RAILS, a SWAINSON'S WARBLER, 2
MISSISSIPPI KITES, and some PROTHONOTARY WARBLERS. Eric also observed a
BALD EAGLE at Lake Tobesofkee.

Several observers have noted that a pair of PEREGRINE FALCONS has fledged
young on the SunTrust building in downtown Atlanta. Jim Ozier also reported
that there is another pair nesting on the Four Seasons Hotel in Midtown.

The BAIRD'S SANDPIPER discovered at the American Proteins plant in Forsyth
Co. by John Paget and Jack Carusos was last reported by Darlene Moore on

Michael Beuerlein reported a possible SCISSOR-TAILED FLYCATCHER flying
across I-75 in Monroe Co. near the Rumble Rd./Smarr exit on 6/5. A pair of
SCISSOR-TAILED FLYCATCHERS is nesting along King Mill Rd. near McDonough.

On 6/2, Lydia Thompson reported that an AMERICAN WHITE PELICAN continued at
the Marshes of Glynn Overlook Park along US 17 in Brunswick.
