This is Dave DeReamus, for the Eastern PA Birdline, sponsored by the Lehigh
Valley Audubon Society, recorded on September 1st at 10:00 PM.

There will be a field trip to the Whitehall Parkway on September 3rd. Meet
at the Tilghman Square Parking lot, near the Red Robin Restaurant, just west
of Route 309 at 7:30 AM. Trip leader will be Ted Fritzinger.

The next Audubon meeting will be held on September 13th at 7:00 PM at the
Pool Wildlife Sanctuary in Emmaus. Chad Kister will do a program on the
Arctic National Wildlife Refuge.

birding guidebook, "Birds of the Lehigh Valley and Vicinity".

Sightings from the GREEN POND area, Northampton County included:
BLACK-CROWNED NIGHT-HERON - 1 immature from 8/28 to at least 8/30 (at the
pond itself).

Sightings from EAST ALLEN TOWNSHIP, Northampton County included:
PHILADELPHIA VIREO - 1 on 8/30 (along the Nor-Bath Trail).

Sightings from LITTLE GAP, Northampton County included:
Bald Eagles - 5 on 9/1.

Sightings from the WALNUTPORT area, Northampton County included:
Red-shouldered Hawk - 1 on 8/28
Also Magnolia Warbler.

Sightings from the LEHIGH GAP WILDLIFE REFUGE, Carbon County included:
Bald Eagle - 1 on 8/26.
