Highlights: PACIFIC LOON, WHITE-FACED IBIS, EURASIAN COLLARED DOVE,
SAGE GROUSE, LECONTE'S THRASHER, SAGE THARSHER, GRAY CATBIRD,
SAGE SPARROW, BLACK-THROATED SPARROW, YELLOW-HEADED BLACKBIRD,
GREAT-TAILED GRACKLE, RED CROSSBILL, LAWRENCE'S GOLDFINCH.
Mono and Inyo Co.

On Jul 1, (3) LECONTE'S THRASHERS and many BLACK-THROATED SPARROWS were
at north end of Fish Slough, which is 10 miles north of Bishop.
(16) WHITE-FACED IBIS were in a pond along Jean LeBlanc Road on the
way to Fish Slough. A female LAWRENCE'S GOLDFINCH was at
Glacier Lodge, west of Big Pines. Many RED CROSSBILLS were at the
Crestview Rest stop, 5 miles south of Deadman Summit on the
west side of Hwy 395. SAGE THRASHERS, SAGE GROUSE and SAGE SPARROWS
were at Whitmore Hot Springs, along Benton Crossing Road.
GREAT-TAILED GRACKLES and YELLOW-HEADED BLACKBIRDS were at the June Lake

On Jul 1, a singing male GRAY CATBIRD and EURASIAN COLLARED DOVE were
seen at the Susan River Parkway in Susanville. To get to this spot,
take Riverside Drive and Holloway, which is off of Hwy 36.

On Jul 3, a PACIFIC LOON was seen on the east side of Crowley Lake.
A GREAT-TAILED GRACKLE was seen with Brewer's Blackbirds and
Yellow-Headed Blackbirds. (Mark Miller)
