This is the Voice of Audubon for Friday, July 14.

On Tuesday 2 GULL-BILLED TERNS were seen at Plum Island, and other
reports from Plum Island this week have included an out-of-season BRANT,
56 GADWALL, 25 GREEN-WINGED TEAL, 1 GREATER SCAUP, 1 LEAST
BITTERN, 14 GLOSSY IBISES, 1 NORTHERN HARRIER, 29 GREATER
YELLOWLEGS, 70 LESSER YELLOWLEGS, 208 WILLETS, 1 WHIMBREL,
2 HUDSONIAN GODWITS, 470 SEMIPALMATED SANDPIPERS, 320
LEAST SANDPIPERS, 2 STILT SANDPIPERS, 552 SHORT-BILLED
DOWITCHERS, 2 LITTLE GULLS, 1 YELLOW-BILLED CUCKOO, 8
WILLOW FLYCATCHERS, 15 MARSH WRENS, 14 BROWN THRASHERS,
1 BLACKPOLL WARBLER, and 28 SALTMARSH SHARP-TAILED
SPARROWS.

Seen at South Beach in Chatham were 200 BLACK-BELLIED PLOVERS,
40 SEMIPALMATED PLOVERS, 3 HUDSONIAN GODWITS, 100 RED
KNOTS, 200 SEMIPALMATED SANDPIPERS, 300 SHORT-BILLED
DOWITCHERS, and 2 BLACK SKIMMERS, and at Nantucket there were
18 SEMIPALMATED PLOVERS, 23 AMERICAN OYSTERCATCHERS,
10 SHORT-BILLED DOWITCHERS, 53 ROSEATE TERNS, 115 COMMON
TERNS, and 2 BLACK TERNS.

Recent reports from Stellwagen Bank have included roughly 5600
GREATER SHEARWATERS, 3200 SOOTY SHEARWATERS, 14 MANX
SHEARWATERS, 1450 WILSON'S STORM-PETRELS, 13 NORTHERN
GANNETS, 3 PARASITIC JAEGERS, and 1 POMARINE JAEGER, and
miscellaneous reports this week have included a belated report of a GULL-
BILLED TERN at South Beach in Chatham last Saturday, a LESSER BLACK-
BACKED GULL and a BLACK TERN in Provincetown, 3 GRASSHOPPER
SPARROWS and 11 ORCHARD ORIOLES in Falmouth, roughly 600
SEMIPALMATED SANDPIPERS and 1 BLACK TERN at Plymouth Beach,
42 SHORT-BILLED DOWITCHERS at Belle Isle Marsh in East Boston,
a STILT SANDPIPER in Rowley, 7 MANX SHEARWATERS at Andrew's
Point in Rockport, and a YELLOW-CROWNED NIGHT-HERON in Gloucester.
