Today, Wednesday at Bolsa Chica Preserve, the continuing REDDISH EGRET was
found in the channel just south of Warner Ave.

Also today, off the Newport Pier, from 7:15 to 9:45 AM a number of
interesting birds. PINK-FOOTED SHEARWATER (71), BLACK STORM-PETREL (3),
BLACK TERN (1), PIGEON GUILLEMOT (1), CASSIN'S AUKLET (3), and a MURRELET sp
(probable Xantus's/Craveri, very distant). Also on the 23rd from the Pier a
COMMON MURRE was seen.

Yesterday, at San Joaquin Wildlife Sanctuary, a BLACK TERN spent the day.
