Highlights: LONG-TAILED DUCK, SEMIPALMATED SANDPIPER, REEVE,
RED-NECKED PHALAROPE, WANDERING TATTLER, BLACK SKIMMER, CHIMNEY SWIFT,
LAWRENECE'S GOLDFINCH.
San Francisco Co.

On Aug 2, (4) LAWRENCE'S GOLDFINCHES were seen flying from the
restoration area to the weedy field to the south at Presidio Hills,
near the composting area. This is behind the old public health building,
off of 15th Ave. (Josiah Clark)
San Mateo Co.

On Aug 2, an adult SEMIPALMATED SANDPIPER and RED-NECKED PHALAROPE were
seen at Pescadero Marsh mudflats. (Ed DeBellevue)
Monterey Co.

On Aug 1, the CHIMNEY SWIFT were seen flying over the banding lab at
Andrew Molera State Park. This bird has been here for a few days.
The banding lab is south and east of the main parking lot, take the dirt
road past the horse trail arch, which is white. (Matt Brady)
San Joaquin Co.

On Jul 31, an adult REEVE was seen on the east side of pond #1
at the Stockton Sewage Ponds. (Rob Fowler)
Must sign in first at main office on Navy Drive. The Stockton
Sewer Ponds are in south Stockton, west of I-5. Take the westbound
Highway 4 exit. The ponds are on Highway 4 just over the San Joaquin
River bridge. Navy Drive, however, runs parallel and one block to
the north of Highway 4 but is on the east side of the San Joaquin River.

On Aug 1, the pair of BLACK SKIMMERS continues to be seen on
Bodega Bay, off of Westshore Road, about 100yards from the sign
for "Laboratory Housing". (Sal Salerno)
Mendocino Co.

On AUg 2, the LONG-TAILED DUCK was upstream from the bridge at
10 Mile River. A WANDERING TATTLER was at Mendocino Headlands State
