This is Dave DeReamus, for the Eastern PA Birdline, sponsored by the Lehigh
Valley Audubon Society, recorded on August 3rd at 8:00 PM.
There will be a field trip to Bombay Hook National Wildlife Refuge on August
12th. Meet at the Tilghman Square Parking lot, near the Red Robin
restaurant, just west of Route 309 at 7:00 AM. Trip leader will be Peter
Saenger.

Sightings from the GREEN POND area, Northampton County included:
At the flooded field:
GLOSSY IBIS - 1 from 7/31 to at least 8/3
LITTLE BLUE HERON - 1 from 7/31 to at least 8/3
Great Egrets - 2 to at least 8/3.
Also Green Heron, Greater Yellowlegs, and Pectoral and Solitary Sandpiper.
Sightings from the HANOVERVILLE ROAD RETENTION PONDS, Northampton County
included:
Solitary and Least Sandpiper, and Cliff and Bank Swallow.
Sightings from LEASER LAKE, Lehigh County included:
Double-crested Cormorant - 1 on 8/2
Great Egrets - 2 on 8/2.
Sightings from the TREXLERTOWN area, Lehigh County included:
Great Egrets - 14 on 8/3 and 8/4 (along Cetronia Road across from Air
Products).
Also Lesser Yellowlegs.
Sightings from SALISBURY TOWNSHIP, Lehigh County included:
Great Egret - 1 on 7/28 ('fly-by').
Sightings from GREEN LANE RESERVOIR, Montgomery County included:
