A MacGillivray's Warbler was located this morning by Giff Beaton and Mark
Davis on Kennesaw Mountain and continues to be seen as of about 6:30. It is
apparently a young bird. A Mourning Warbler was also seen in the same area
but has not been refound. Kennesaw Mountain is north of Marietta.

There may be no car traffic allowed up the mountain on Monday but you can
walk or take the bus to the top of the mountain. The bird is being seen on
the trail between Big Kennesaw and Little Kennesaw near the bench on the
trail between them. A Wilson's Warbler was also found lower down the
mountain but was not relocated.

Jim Flynn and Earl Horn have found an adult Long-tailed Jaeger at Lake
Hartwell on the Georgia/South Carolina line. It is being seen from the Long
Point Recreation Area and was seen about 6:40pm. Lake Hartwell is in
northeast Georgia (DeLorme p.23 grid B-8). Go east on Hwy 29 to the Long
Point REcreation sign. Go to the end of the point and look back south at
the dam. If the gate is closed you can park at the gate and walk to the
point.
