SWALLOW-TAILED and MISSISSIPPI KITES continue to be seen feeding on
insects over recently mown hay field in Oconee Co near Watkinsville.
See Delorme p28, A3; go E from Hwy 431 in Bishop (A2) on Astondale
Rd. Up to 30-40 Mississippi Kite and 2 Swallow-tailed Kites have been
seen arond the intersections with Colham Ferry and Old Farmington Rds.

Chris Feeney reports BANK, BARN, NORTHERN-ROUGH-WINGED and CLIFF
SWALLOWS from Phinizy Swamp (Richmond Co) on 2 Aug, along with
PAINTED BUNTING, TRICOLORED HERON, and LEAST BITTERN. Also in
Richmond Co, Chris reports 6 singing BACHMAN'S SPARROWS on Ft Gordon.

From Lake Horton (Fayette County, $10 fee for non-Fayette Co
residents), WHITE IBIS, YELLOW-CROWNED NIGHT-HERON, 1 WOOD STORK, 2
AMERICAN COOTS and PECTORAL SANDPIPERS have been reported.

A ROSEATE SPOONBILL was seen at a small creek off the Buffalo River
in Glynn Co, an unusual location for this species.

6 LEAST and SPOTTED SANDPIPERS were reported from the E.L. Huie
facility in Clayton Co.
