Carmel"
A female LARK BUNTING was seen at Carmel River State Beach today. The bird
was seen at 4:00pm working the trail to the south of the cross. [Rich

Monterey Bay:
A Shearwater Journey's trip on the 3rd had highlights of BLACK-FOOTED
ALBATROSS, 4 species of SHEARWATER, 3 species of Jaeger and one SOUTH POLAR
SKUA. [Debbie Shearwater]
San Juan Batista:
A LEWIS' WOODPECKER was reported along the road to Freemont Peak. The bird
was on a telephone pole .6 mile from the intersection of San Juan Canyon Rd
and Mission Vinyard Rd. [Debbie Shearwater]
Moss Landing:
2 immature BLACK TERN were seen flying over pond 4 at Moon Glow Dairy today.

4 BAIRD'S SANDPIPERS were reported on the large pond at the Moss Landing
Wildlife Area. 2 RUDDY TURNSTONE were also present. [Bruce Elliott]
Seaside:
An immature NORTHERN PARULA was seen at Laguna Grande Park this morning.
