Castroville:

A BLACK TERN was seen at the Salinas River NWR yesterday. A group of WHITE
PELICAN were at the river mouth and the few shorebirds at the pond were
flushed by a PEREGRINE FALCON [Brian Weed]

17 WHITE-FACED IBIS were seen flying over the Salinas River at Highway One
this morning. [Rick Fournier]

Pacific Grove:

A SOUTH POLAR SKUA was seen from Point Pinos along with a BLACK TERN and
several PARASITIC JAEGER. [Brian Sullivan]
