>From the Bostwick Sod Farm in Morgan County Grant McCreary reported 4
Buff-breasted Sandpipers and a Willet but no American Golden Plover. This
has been a good place for shorebirds this fall.

Deb Zaremba reports from Kennesaw Mountain north of Marietta in Cobb County
only 11 species of warblers but good numbers of some of them. Also seen
were Summer and Scarlet Tanagers and 2 Baltimore Orioles.

Patrick Brisse reported from Henderson Park in Tucker in Dekalb County that
he had 13 species of warblers and that the Least Flycatcher continues. The
birds were in and around the Mimosas by the dam but the best birding was in
the swampy area on the other side where the creek enters the lake.

Gene Wilkinson in Tattnal County reported 14 Sandhill Cranes flying over his
house. He also saw a Black Tern at the Glennville Wastewater Treatment
Plant.

Margaret Harper reported a Baltimore Oriole coming to her feeder in
Valdosta.

Sheila Willis reported about 1200 Chimney Swifts coming to a roost in
Waycross.

At E. L. Huie Land Application Facility 2 Eared Grebes continue. The best
place to find them in the state however is probably Lake Juliet at the Rum
Creek WMA where Eric Beohm had 7.
