Monterey Bay:

A Shearwater Journey's trip out of Monterey on Saturday had a great day with
the following highlights. MANX SHEARWATER, FLESH-FOOTED SHEARWATER, BLACK,
ASHY, WILSON'S, LEAST and FORK-TAILED STORM PETREL. 3 species of JAEGER and
SOUTH POLAR SKUA. [Debbie Shearwater]

Moss Landing:

The WHITE-FACED IBIS, 2 BLACK TERN, 2 PECTORAL SANDPIPERS, VIRGINIA RAIL
and SORA were still at Moon Glow this morning. Over at Jetty Road, 2 RED
KNOT and 10 RUDDY TURNSTONE. [Tim Armaral] A basic plumage BOBOLINK was
seen near the abandoned house on the road to Zmudowski SB. Over at Moon Glow
in addition to the above, the SOLITARY SANDPIPER and the RUFF were refound.

Salinas River:

A CRESTED CARACARA was seen today at the Salinas River NWR. [Keith
Archibald]

Carmel River:

The NORTHERN WATERTHRUSH was refound just downstream from the green pipe
today. 2 GREEEN HERON and a baby GREAT-HORNED OWL were also reported. [Don

Big Sur:

A MAGNOLIA WARBLER was seen across the bridge for the parking lot at Andrew
Molera today. A CHESTNUT-SIDED WARBLER was along the river by the
campground. [Mike Tyner]
