YELLOW-HEADED BLACKBIRD.

Marin Co.

On Sept 19, a PALM WARBLER was in the coyote brush along the trail
between the parking lot and the very small pond to Abbott's Lagoon.
A YELLOW-HEADED BLACKBIRD was in the large blackbird flock
near the bridge at Abbott's Lagoon. (Lisa Hug)

On Sept 19, a juvenile BUFF-BREASTED SANDPIPER was in the newly
plowed field beyond the first pond at Abbott's Lagoon. (Mark Butler)

San Mateo Co.

On Sept 19, highlights at Coyote Point, a hatch year TENNESSEE WARBLER
was in eucalyptus trees on the west side of the Coyote Point Museum.
A hatch year PRAIRIE WARBLER was in the sweet fennel by the substation,
south of the marina. And a female INDIGO BUNTING was in the blackberry
thicket in the field at the substation. (Ron Thorn)

On Sept 19, a CHESTNUT-SIDED WARBLER was found at Chaney Creek Gulch
as you first enter the town of Bodega Bay on Hwy 1. The bird was 15 feet
from the eucalyptus tree on the right hand side , has a hand painted
"Slow Down" sign. This is just beyond the golf course and entrance to
Doran Park. (Dan Nelson)
