Sosensky, Loren Hays.

Today at Yorba Regional Park, an adult male AMERICAN REDSTART was found 150
ft east of the east end of Parking Lot #10. Also refound was the
CHESTNUT-SIDED WARBLER.

A female PROTHONOTARY WARBLER was found on Thrusday on the west side of
Huntington Central Park around the Shipley Nature Center in the
red-flowering eucs. Also of note last weekend at HCP were 3 BLACKPOLL
WARBLERS (one on west side of Lake on west side of the Park) .... a
female BALTIMORE ORIOLE, at least one SOLITARY SANDPIPER (library drying
lake), a TENNESSEE WARBLER in tall eucs, a PLUMBEOUS VIREO, AMERICAN
REDSTART, BLACK AND WHITE WARBLER, NORTHERN WATERTHRUSH (wet area east
side). Also on Sunday an adult female RED-NAPED SAPSUCKER was reported near
the Shipley Nature Center.

At HCP on the 27th, at least two Northern Waterthrush were at the east side
of the park.

At Mason Regional Park last Saturday a BREWER'S SPARROW was found.

The ARCTIC TERN was last seen at San Joaquin Wildlife Sanctuary last
Thursday in the company of two COMMON TERNS. A juvenile SABINE'S GULL was
found late Saturday at the Sanctuary but not seen on Sunday.

Along the Santa Ana River this week, a PECTORAL SANDPIPER was north of
Lincoln (Thurs), a SOLITARY SANDPIPER on Sat. in the Glassell basin area
near the River, and 3-4 YELLOW-HEADED BLACKBIRDS were observed west of
Glassell.

A high count of 100 ROYAL TERNS were at Bolsa Chica Preserve on the 24th.
