Big Sur:
Today at the Big Sur River mouth, a RED-EYED VIREO, PRAIRIE WARBLER,
TENNESSEE WARBLER, 2 CHESTNUT-SIDED WARBLER and two RED CROSSBILL were
reported. Additionally, a VESPER SPARROW was on the Mesa, a SCAUP was off
shore and two GADWALL were present. [Ryan Terrill]
Moss Landing:
A GREEN-TAILED TOWHEE was seen Thursday evening at Moon Glow dairy. The
bird was below the overlook above pond one. [Brian Sullivan]
Monterey Bay:
A Shearwater Jouneys trip today reported thousands of Shearwater including 3
Flesh-footed. POMERINE JAEGER and SOUTH POLAR SKUA were also reported.
