On Oct 1, a pelagic trip on Monterey Bay reported (3) BLACK-FOOTED
SHEARWATER, (1) MANX SHEARWATER, (4) FLESH-FOOTED SHEARWATER,
(310) PINK-FOOTED SHEARWATER, (60) BULLER'S SHEARWATER,
(750) SOOTY SHEARWATER, (1) WILSON'S STORM-PETREL,
(6000) ASHY STORM-PETREL, (175) BLACK STROM-PETREL,
(7) SOUTH POLAR SKUA, (45) POMARINE JAEGER, (3) PARASITIC JAEGER,
(16) SABINE'S GULL, (3) CASSIN'S AUKLET, and one PEREGRINE FALCON on
wharf #2 and another on the radio tower. (Debbie Shearwater)

On Oct 2, the (2) BUFF-BREASTED SANDPIPER were at the part of Abbott's
Lagoon closest to the beach. Then they flew to area where the pelicans
roost at 1-2pm. (Josiah Clark)

On Oct 3, a ROSE-BREASTED GROSBEAK was in the low trees by the fence
on the western side of the community garden at Fort Mason.

On Oct 3, a female type INDIGO BUNTING was seen from the public access
trail along the drainage ditch beneath the grove of Eucalyptus Trees
south of the parking lot for the Coyote Pt. Yacht Club,
A dull CAPE MAY WARBLER was seen in the huge patch of Sweet Fennel
along Beach Park Ave off of Swordfish Street in Foster City. A
CLAY-COLORED SPARROW was seen at this spot also.
