Today at Laguna Niguel Regional Park an adult male AMERICAN REDSTART,
perhaps back for its 4th winter was sighted. Also at the park was a
PLUMBEOUS VIREO, MOUNTAIN CHICKADEE, and a likely LESSER CANADA GOOSE.

At Huntington Central Park last week, a BLACKPOLL WARBLER was seen on the
west side of the lake (Friday), the female PROTHONOTARY WARBLER last
reported on Sunday by the Sibley Nature Center, two continuing NORTHERN
WATERTHRUSH (east side Friday, one yesterday), 1-2 SOLITARY SANDPIPER
(yesterday).

On Monday at Mason Regional Park, west side, a female BLACK AND WHITE
WARBLER adult was seen on the west side of the lake towards the back.

Also on Monday at Canyon Community Park off of 19th Street, a PRAIRIE
WARBLER was found.

A CLAPPER RAIL was seen and photographed at Bolsa Chica Preserve last
Saturday.

On Sunday at Harbor View Park a SUMMER TANAGER was reported.

On Saturday at the Environmental Nature Center, an adult male AMERICAN
REDSTART, perhaps a returning wintering bird, was seen towards the back by
the backyards.

A BLACKPOLL WARBLER was seen at the east end of Yorba Regional Park on
Friday. Another Blackpoll was at Mile Square Park around the Gazebo on
Tuesday.
