On Oct 13, a EURASIAN WIGEON and PECTORAL SANDPIPER were at the 1st pond
at the Las Gallinas Water Treatment Plant in San Rafael. On Oct 12,
a male and female REDHEAD were in the 1st pond at Las Gallinas Water
Treatment Plant, and a PALM WARBLER was feeding in the coyote bushes and
fennel by the 3rd pond. (Michael Stevenson)

On Oct 13, a sea watch from Pigeon Point reported (6) NORTHERN FULMAR,
(1) PINK-FOOTED SHEARWATER, (1) BULLER'S SHEARWATER, (9) BLACK-VENTED
SHEARWATER, (1) male BLACK SCOTER, (1) POMARINE JAEGER,
(22) PARASITIC JAEGER, (1) COMMON TERN and (1) RHINOCEROS AUKLET.
A hatch year ROSE-BREASTED GROSBEAK was just upstream from Duarte's
Tavern along Pescadero Creek in Pescadero. A hybrid TOWNSEND's x HERMIT
WARBLER was also seen. (Ron Thorn)

On Oct 13, a pelagic trip from Bodega Bay reported (20) BLACK-FOOTED
ALBATROSS, (5-7) FLESH-FOOTED SHEARWATER, (1) TUFTED PUFFIN, the 1st
BONAPARTE'S GULL of the season and the usual other species. The real
