PHILADELPHIA VIREO, SWAMP SPARROW, WHITE-THROATED SPARROW.
San Francisco Co.

On Oct 14, the AMERICAN BITTERN continues on the east side of North Lake
in Golden Gate Park. It was just north of the sandy beach on
the east side, best seen from the west side of the lake.
At North Lake again, TROPICAL KINGBIRD was found by Matt Zlatunich on
the west side of the lake, as well as the AMERICAN BITTERN being

On Oct 14, at east Fort Miley, a BLUE-GRAY GNATCATCHER and
WHITE-THROATED SPARROW were found. A COMMON MOORHEN was found by the
metal fishing pier by the Concrete Bridge at the south end of Lake

On Oct 14, a WHITE-WINGED DOVE was on the wires across from the
parking lot of the west side of the Concrete Bridge at the south
end of Lake Merced. It flew off towards the boathouse. (Calvin D Lou)
On Oct 14, a PHILADELPHIA VIREO was seen in the willows on the south
side of the bridge at South Lake Merced. (Brian Fitch)

On Oct 13, an albacore fishing trip out of Santa Cruz reported
(1) WILSON'S STORM-PETREL, (1) FLESH-FOOTED SHEARWATER,
(2) COMMON TERN, (50) of all 3 Jaeger species, BLAC-FOOTED ALBATROSS,
five species of Shearwater, NORTHERN FLUMAR, CASSIN'S AUKLET
and RHINOCEROS AUKLETS. (Josiah Clark)

On Oct 14, a pelagic trip from Monterey Bay reported (5) BLACK-VENTED
SHEARWATER, (3) FLESH-FOOTED SHEARWATER, (2) SHORT-TAILED SHEARWATER,
(75) BLLER'S SHEARWATER, (75) SOOTY SHEARWATER,
(400) PINK-FOOTED SHEARWATER, (10) NORTHERN FULMAR, (1) SOUTH POLAR SKUA
and (25) POMARINE JAEGER. (Debbie Shearwater)

On Oct 14, two MERLINS (taiga and suckleyi) were seen from the
high cliffs along Hwy 1, south of Stinson Beach. Several
MARBLED MURRLETES were seen below. At the south end of the Stinson Beach
parking lot, a SWAMP SPARROW was seen in addition to a late
WARBLING VIREO. (Keith Hansen)
On Oct 8, at Pt Reyes National Seashore, a female BLACKPOLL WARBLER was
near the 1st pond below the Abbott's Lagoon parking lot, a PALM WARBLER
was at the Lighthouse, and a BLACK-THROATED GRAY WARBLER was at the
