Monterey Bay:

Shearwater Journey's had an outstanding day Sunday with a number of
highlight birds. A STREAKED SHEARWATER and a GREATER SHEARWATER head the
list. A total of 8 Shearwater species were recorded. A BR0WN BOOBY and a
MANX SHEARWATER added to the excitement. [Debbie Shearwater]

Pacific Grove:

Windy conditions at Point Pinos produced thousands of birds near shore.
BLACK-VENTED SHEARWATER, JAEGER and MARBLED MURRELET were among the birds
