Common Raven and Red-breasted Nuthatch.
Sightings from EAST BANGOR DAM, Northampton County included:
SORA - 1 on 10/14
Rusty Blackbirds - 8 on 10/14.
Also Blue-winged Teal.
Sightings from WILLIAMS TOWNSHIP, Northampton County included:
LARK SPARROW - 1 on 10/19 (2nd Northampton County record)
DICKCISSEL - 1 on 10/19
MARSH WREN - 1 on 10/19.
Also Nashville and Cape May Warbler.
Sightings from the GREEN POND area, Northampton County included:
Great Egrets - up to 5 to at least 10/17.

DICKCISSEL - 1 on 10/12 and 10/13.

Sightings from the MACUNGIE area, Lehigh County included:
PURPLE GALLINULE - 1 from 9/30 to 10/15 (immature; at a retention pond along
Scenic Drive).
This bird represents the 1st record for Lehigh County.
To reach this spot, from I-78, take the Route 100 South (Fogelsville) exit.
Follow Route 100 south for 6 miles. Just before reaching Macungie, turn
right at a stoplight (with a McDonald's on the left) onto Alburtis Road. Go
0.5 mile past the Mack Truck plant. Where Alburtis Road goes right, go
straight onto Orchard Road. In 0.3 mile, cross the railroad tracks and then
turn right at the first intersection onto Scenic Drive. Go another 0.3 mile
to the detention pond where the gallinule has (had?) been seen.
