10 December 2006 at 07:25 p.m.

Highlights: EURASIAN WIGEON, LONG-TAILED DUCK, TUFTED DUCK,
HOODED MERGANSER, ROCK SANDPIPER, BLACK-THROATED BLUE WARBLER,
PALM WARBLER, BLACK-AND-WHITE WARBLER, HARRIS'S SPARROW,
WHITE-THROATED SPARROW.

San Mateo Co.

On Dec 10, the male BLACK-THROATED BLUE WARBLER was again seen briefly
at 895 Sierra Street in Moss Beach. It was last seen in
the pine tree across the street, intersection of Sierra and
Vermont Sts. (JR Blair)

On Dec 10, a hatch year HARRIS'S SPARROW was in the sparrow flock next
to the parking lot to the Gazos Creek Access off of Hwy 1.

On Dec 10, the female TUFTED DUCK has returned to the west end of the
lagoon off of Shell Parkway in Redwood Shores. (Ron Thorn)

On Dec 9, a LONG-TAILED DUCK was seen at the Pillar Point Boat Ramp
in Princeton Harbor in Half Moon Bay. (David Nelson)

On Dec 9, a ROCK SANDPIPER was seen below the 18th tee at the Half Moon
Bay Golf Course. The bird is also visible from the south end of
Redondo Beach Road. There is a paved coastal trail which has public
access. A WHITE-THROATED SPARROW was seen in the vacant lot east of the
maintenance yard at Ocean Colony, while another two have been hanging
out at a feeder at 8 Pinehurst Lane. A pair of HOODED MENGANSERS were in
the pond just inside the Ocean Colony gate. (Gary Deghi)

On Dec 9, a male EURASIAN WIGEON was seen at the entry station pond
at Doran Park in Bodega Bay. (Dea Freid)

Alameda Co.

On Dec 10, a PALM WARBLER was at the Fairy Land in Oakland near
Lake Merritt. (George Griffeth)

San Francisco Co.

On Dec 10, the BLACK-AND-WHITE WARBLER was found in five Monterey pines
at the SW corner of Fort Scott in the Presidio. The pines are near a
