BLACKPOLL WARBLER, BLACKBURNIAN WARBLER, TENNESSEE WARBLER,
ROSE BREASTED GROSBEAK.
Marin Co.

On Sept 10, at Pt Reyes, a BLACKBURIAN WARBLER and WILLOW FLYCATCHER
were seen at the Lighthouse trees. A TENNESSEE WARBLER and BLACKPOLL
WARBLER were seen at the Mendoza Ranch. (Bob Bradriff)
On Sept 10, the team from Hawk Hill, had (36) OSPREY (a new day high),
(1) BROAD-WINGED HAWK, the 1st MERLIN, and a FERRUGINOUS HAWK.

On Sept 10, the WHITE-WINGED DOVE and female ROSE-BREASTED GROSBEAK
were seen at 170 Pacific Way in Muir Beach. (Jim White)
On Sept 10, at Pt Reyes, a BLACKBURIAN WARBLER was seen at the Mendoza
Ranch. A PECTORAL SANDPIPER was small at a small pond along the road
to Drake's Beach. A BALCKPOLL WARBLER was seen on a small "island"
in the parking lot at Drake's Beach. (Scott Hoppe)

On Sept 10, a seawatch from Pigeon Point produced (64) PINK-FOOTED
SHEARWATER, (126) BULLER'S SHEARWATER and (6-7) PARASITIC JAEGER.
At the Phipp's Ranch, located along Pescadero Road in the town of
Pescadero, a H-Y ROSE-BREASTED GROSBEAK, H-Y BLACK-AND-WHITE WARBLER
and CHESTNUT-SIDED WARBLER were seen near "Wild Garden". On Sept 9,
a HAMMOND'S FLYCATCHER was seen in th eucalyptus trees near the
Coyote Point Museum at Coyote Point. And a COMMON TERN was at the
pond at the end of Radio Road in Redwood Shores.(Ron Thorn)

On Sept 10, a pelagic trip on Monterey Bay reported five species of
shearwaters, including (800,000 to 1 million) SOOTY SHEARWATERS,
(8000) PINK-FOOTED SHEARWATERS, (3) FLESH-FOOTED SHEARWATER,
(1) BLACK-VENTED SHEARWATER, (1) LAYSAN ALBATROSS,
(18) BLACK-FOOTED ALBATROSS, (185) ASHY STORM-PETREL, the usual alcids,
all three species of jaegers, and (6) SOUTH POLAR SKUA.

On Sept 10, a BLUE-WINGED WARBLER and AMERICAN REDSTART were seen near
the summit on Mt Davidson. A CHESTNUT-SIDED WARBLER was seen by David
Armstrongas well. (Michelle Brodie)
On Sept 10, the LEAST FLYCATCHER, adult male ROSE-BREASTED GROSBEAK,
CHIPPING SPARROW and a possible BLACK-CHINNED HUMMINGBIRD (seen by
Nataniel Wander), were seen in the "East Wash" in Lincoln Park.
